ABOUT
English Plus One was founded in 2008 and focused on helping California State University students pass their English exams so that they may be awarded their Bachelor Degree.
In 2011, Dr. Scott and his Vietnamese wife Amy moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to follow-up on some research that Dr. Scott was pursuing based on how Vietnamese businesses approached Entrepreneurship. Dr. Scott began working for VAS and found that Vietnam was a great country to live in and thus moved English Plus One across the ocean to its new home! Since 2016, Dr. Scott has switched schools and now teaches at RMIT University in the Logistics & Supply Chain program and the Tourism & Hospitality Management program.

Child Safety
You and/or your children are as safe as safe could be once inside our classroom. There will always be two teachers in the room at all times and your children will never have a moment when they will not be supervised. Rest assured that your safety concerns are just as important to us!
We only ask that you remind your children that they are guests at English Plus One and that they are expected to behave as if mom and dad were there watching them. Everyone is treated with respect and is expected to do the same in return.
Our Staff
The teachers at English Plus One consist of Dr. Scott and his wife Amy.
Dr. Scott has a Ph.D., MSc, MBA, and a BBA in Business. He has been teaching for 10+ years and was a Project Manager, Purchasing Manager, Materials Manager, and Warehouse Manager in his previous career history.
Miss Amy has a Bachelor of Education focused in Primary Education from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. She has been married to Dr. Scott for 11 years and has been his teaching partner for just as long!
